SOUND{PLAY}CE
AN EXPERIENTIAL SENSORY 3D DOLL’S HOUSE
Sound [Play]ce uses sound and tactile experiences to boost somatic awareness.
Teaming up with HLM Architects, we designed an interactive dollhouse and dolls that turn play into a sensory exploration. Inspired by Edwin Lutyens' 1922 design, and with contributions from top designers like Grayson Perry and Zaha Hadid, our house features accessibility-friendly elements and sensory-rich dolls. As a ball bearing moves through the house, it creates sounds that help visually impaired children build spatial awareness. The handmade dolls, made from materials like metal and resin, add a tactile layer to the experience.
This project blends my passion for sensory engagement with creative design, connecting people to their somatic selves in a fun and innovative way.
